It's the quiet voice of my inner Protector warning me, trying to keep me safe, out of harm's way. It knows it's safer to just do nothing. There's no telling what could happen if I put myself out there. But I'm not gonna get jumped by a lion for writing a blog post. The Protector doesn't realize the truth of modern creativity. We risk little when we create, but we have much to gain, both materially and spiritually. All the more reason to do something. But venturing into the unknown is dangerous, and all creative acts are ventures into the unknown. It takes courage to create something and share it with others. Courage isn't about muting our inner Protector, in fact, we *want* to hear its warnings and feel its fear. Courage is when we feel the fear, hold its hand, reassure it that "everything's gonna be okay," and then embark on a new adventure with it. Adventuring into the unknown, making something that has never been made before, putting it out there, and risking looking foolish, that's creativity. Whether it's writing, painting, knitting, or playing guitar. The worst thing you could do is silence your inner Protector. Know why? Because it has direct access to divine wisdom. It holds the answers to your prayers in the palms of its hands, just hiding in plain sight. Your Protector can sense every important step in your life journey. It won't warn you when you do stuff that is trivial or of no consequence. Why would it? When you risk nothing, you're safe, and the Protector wants you safe. But your Protector can tell when you're about to do something real, something important, and that's when it speaks or shouts its warnings more loudly. Thank your fear (Protector) for the warning, and for actually confirming where you must go if you want to grow, expand, and experience the important things that you came here to experience. Let your Protector be your Guide. Lets get metaphysical and zoom out further. I hope I don't lose you here... You are powerful beyond belief. You are powerful enough to trick yourself into believing that you're not powerful. You can imbue your power into a million excuses and play pretend that you are a weak, disempowered victim of your physical world, but the physical world is only a mirror. What you see isn't all there is, it's a reflection. Reality is a reflection of the three minds that you inhabit; your superconscious mind (spirit), your conscious mind (ego), and your subconscious mind (soul). How your three minds come together affects what you experience in your living reflection story-world. Your superconscious mind (spirit) holds the divine design of your life. This is your Higher Self. There are things that You-From-A-Higher-Level came here intending to create, experience, and bring to life. Your conscious mind (ego) is your human free will. You can choose to live in alignment with your higher intentions or you can rebel against your own divinity and believe in separation, lack, victimhood, and give into your lowest, most animalistic urges. Your subconscious mind (soul) is the fabric of physical reality. Its intelligence takes every word your speak, each thought you believe, every feeling you emit, and each action you take, however abundant or scarce, light or dark, sweet or sour, and it plants those seeds and grows them until you eventually reap what you sowed in the fertile soil of the soul. You are *limitless possibility* exploring a three-dimensional spirit/ego/soul story-world of your own creation, in which the character you've created is self-aware and is always co-creating their experience with their superconscious and subconscious minds. And you are some combination of all three minds. Or maybe you are the awareness that sees through the three minds, an individuation of God consciousness, Pure Awareness, a singularity given the powers of infinity. Anywho, I wrote more about this, but it started getting so metaphysical that I was having trouble wrapping my mind(s) around it.
